Oh, The Possibilities!

This was the happy result of an untimely washing machine breakdown. Now, imagine a 36" base cupboard with counter-top to the left (covering all of the hoses, of course) and a cupboard above. Well, that's the plan anyway. Who knew so much space and potential could be available in this tiny room!

Staycation - Friday

Today was our movie day. This was the one consistent request that the older boys made for our vacation.

Thus far we've watched three movies and still have two to go.

House Temperature: 76 degrees (and it feels wonderful!)

Staycation - Thursday

The downside of the connect pass is that your days have to be consecutive. So though we were pretty tired, we headed out early this morning. We started the morning at Hogle Zoo; hung out at the Discovery Children's Museum; watched a 3-D Imax show and a star show at Clark Planetarium and ended the evening at the Aquarium. Whew!

Staycation - Wednesday

We purchased Salt Lake City Connect Passes for Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday, we spent the morning at This Is The Place park; lunch at Lion House Pantry; a hot afternoon at the UMFA (Utah Museum of Fine Arts); and finished up the evening at Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum. It was a long, but fun day.

Staycation - Tuesday

We were exhausted after a hot day at Lagoon. So we modified our schedule to give us a break. On Tuesday we saw Harry Potter; went out for pizza; and played glow-in-the-dark golf at Trafalga. Sorry, no pictures.

Staycation - Monday

In hopes of applying some of our savings to finishing the basement bedrooms, we opted to save some money this year and do a staycation. I'll do a couple of posts about our fun week.
